SURFYNOL® 104 SURFACTANT, a low foam, dynamic wetting agent in solid form is designed to provide fast, effective wetting in solid coatings and other formulations requiring solider additives. The active component of SURFYNOL® 104 SURFACTANT is a Gemini wetting agent and molecular defoamer that can provide an attractive combination of performance benefits. SURFYNOL® 104 SURFACTANT’s unique structure can deliver multifunctional properties, including efficient surface tension reduction and foam control. In coating applications, SURFYNOL® 104 SURFACTANT can eliminate or greatly reduce the need for the commonly used degassing agent benzoin. Additional benefits include improved color development, gloss, and distinctness of image (DOI). SURFYNOL® 104 SURFACTANT is also suitable for use in high performance agricultural chemical crop protection systems. As an additive in wet table solid pesticide systems, SURFYNOL® 104 SURFACTANT can improve wetting, control foam and enhance leaf and soil penetration.
