The Tomadol® ethoxylates vary in both hydrophobe and ethylene oxide chain lengths, to yield a wide range of physical and surfactant properties.
The TOMADOL® 1-5 ethoxylates function as wetting agents and emulsifiers in various agricultural chemical applications. Tomadol 1-5 at 0.1% promotes excellent wetting of hydrophobic substrates by reducing the static surface tension to 26 mN/m. Also, at 0.015% in water the contact angle measures 18°. TOMADOL® 1-5 is an excellent emulsifier, especially for aromatic and paraffinic solvents.
Made from linear synthetic alcohols, TOMADOL® 1-5 is an excellent wetting agent and emulsifier that provides ease of handling and formulation. Tomadol 1-5 is readily biodegradable.
